time residence of Croatian kings and bishops, Croatia's place of birth.
The small town with its historical monuments looks like a museum- e.g.

small island, connected with the mainland by two bridges.
There is a well-known natural bath with curative mud. In the Roman era
it was called Aenona and was an important semi-autonomous municipality.
It later became the capital of a province and the seat of Croatian
bishops.
