  TOWN ZADAR
Zadar is a 3000 years old town and for centuries it was Dalmatia 's capital. Its symbol is the preromanesque St. Donat's church from the 9th century with the most beautiful examples of the Romanesque architecture in Croatia close at hand: St. Stošija's cathedral (13th ct.), St. Krševan church and St. Mary's belfry (12th ct.). Natural beauties, numerous bays and beaches, ancient historic monuments, and a rich choice of food with a number of regional specialities is what makes Zadar and its surrounding one of most attractive regions in Croatia.   TOWN NIN
Nin- for a long time residence of Croatian kings and bishops, Croatia's place of birth. The small town with its historical monuments looks like a museum- e.g. the "smallest cathedral in the world" the old Croatian church of Sv.Križ (St. Cross). Only 40 km from Sv. Filip i Jakov, Nin is situated on a small island, connected with the mainland by two bridges.
There is a well-known natural bath with curative mud. In the Roman era it was called Aenona and was an important semi-autonomous municipality. It later became the capital of a province and the seat of Croatian bishops.
You can come in your own vehicle and spend half a day sightseeing…
